Los Angeles has a variety of unique steak houses that have become part of the local culture. Inspired by a few restaurants' signature dishes, Giada hosts an intimate "steak house party" featuring Butter Lettuce Salad With Gorgonzola and Pear Vinaigrette, Grilled Rib Eye With Tomato and Poblano Chili Sauce and Spiced Bourbon, Beer and Maple Martinis.

Giada De Laurentiis and her daughter, Jade, fly a kite on the beach while Giada's husband, Todd, enjoys the water kite surfing. Todd joins the girls and they share an elegant picnic dinner. Giada makes Gruyere and Spinach Bakes, Orzo With Artichoke Pesto and Grilled Corn and, for dessert, Strawberry and Lemon Meringue Clouds.
