A Washington couple is tired of the city's congestion and rat race, and after watching a show about Merritt Island, Fla., they decided to check it out and fell in love immediately.

A couple and their daughters have an active life in Port St. Lucie, Fla., but after years of trips to nearby Hutchinson Island, the family is ready to make the beach part of their daily life.
