Barney interprets a kiss as a sign of a secret engagement between Andy and Helen. The town gets the word and prepares a surprise party for the couple.

Andy takes his son Opie and several of his pals on a camping trip. Barney and Gomer tag along to help out but only succeed in getting themselves lost in the woods.
