Anna tries to keep control of the situation she has plunged into. Guillot decides to use Caldera more effectively in the investigation and sends her to speak to Anna's mother, who believes that Manuel was the perfect husband. However, she changes her mind when she realises that she and Louis are being followed.

Anna is increasingly overwhelmed by flashbacks and is coming closer and closer to disaster. Lucas wants Anna to see the truth about a case Manuel appeared to bungle. Caldera is worried she might be getting sidelined in the case.
