Marilyn is sick and Lily sends Herman down to the bank to take out their tax refund money. Grandpa goes with him and they are mistaken for 2 bank robbers who have been going around robbing banks in Halloween costumes.

Herman gets a part time job as a detective, works late at night and Lily ends up calling the detective agency to tail her husband not knowing what he is doing and they send Herman to do the job.
