The Silk Road was the ancient trade route that connected Eastern and Western worlds from Rome to Beijing. The road traveled through many countries and was a source of ancient mystery. Even today, the road is shrouded in mystery. The Seven Wonders examined are: The Terracotta Army in China; Xerxes' Bridge over the Hellespont; the Silk Road Mega Tombs at Kucha, China; the Great Wall of China; the Forbidden City in Beijing, China;  the Aya Sophia (Hagia Sophia) in Istanbul, Turkey; and the Taj Mahal in India.
