A summer of protests over racial justice has seemingly deepened the divide between Democrats and Republicans, and an increasingly ominous rhetoric around the validity of the election result could threaten the democratic process itself. So as Americans go to the polls, have they had enough their maverick leader or are they ready to vote him in for a second term?
