Herman comes to Heddy's defense and gives the man whose harassing her a punch... only to find he's the vice president of the publishing company.

Herman is working alone late at the office. He hides when Heddy brings a man back to the office and then admits he's married. Heddy kicks the man out. He gains insight into Heddy's psyche when her mother shows no interest over the phone.
