Baseball loving wife and mother, Diane Fortenberry, is found unconscious on the floor of her burglarised home. Hours later, at the hospital, Diane succumbs to her injuries, and the entire resort town of Osakis, Minnesota, aids law enforcement.

Nurse Lorie Kirkley goes missing from her home in what appears to be a burglary gone wrong. Soon the entire town of Valparaiso comes under suspicion, as the police belive there may be more to it than a robbery gone wrong.
