A NYC couple look to escape the hustle and bustle of the city and purchase a fixer-upper only a short ferry ride away on the Jersey Shore. But once renovations begin, they discover so many problems that they wonder if they might be in over their heads.

A couple with two active children and hectic jobs hopes to find a beach house in North Carolina's Outer Banks to give their family a place to relax and recharge. They find a home in a perfect location, but its out-of-date style means it will need to be renovated from top to bottom. They're up for the challenge, but as construction begins they discover they might have gotten more than they bargained for.
