After a life-threatening police operation in Wolfratshausen, Hubert and Girwidz try to take their minds off things on a joint mountain tour. In Ödweil, the two set off for the southernmost point of Germany. At boundary stone 147, their break is finally over.

Both pairs of investigators decide to take care of "their" corpse first. But police chief Sabine Kaiser and Austrian police chief David Pichler order the two duos to work together on the investigation. At first, the cooperation does not seem to be off to a good start.
