Clare Balding presents highlights of the day's action from day four of the 2018 Winter Olympics from Pyeongchang, South Korea. Great Britain's Elise Christie is the standout home hope on day four with the three-time short track speed skating world champion going for gold in the women's 500m. American snowboarding teenage sensation Chloe Kim starts among the favourites in the women's halfpipe - an event the 17-year-old has dominated for much of the last Olympic cycle. Compatriot Shaun White begins his bid for a third snowboard halfpipe gold medal, while the men's alpine combined skiing gold medallist is also crowned - one of eight gold medals awarded on day four.

Mikaela Shiffrin is the biggest name in action with the women's giant slalom potentially one of a number of gold medals the American skiing sensation could claim in Pyeongchang.

Team GB hopes on day three rest with X Games medallist Katie Ormerod in the women's snowboard slopestyle final. Ormerod has been widely tipped in the Pyeongchang build-up to emulate compatriot Jenny Jones's bronze medal-winning heroics in Sochi 2014.

Day 5 Highlights

Clare Balding presents highlights of the day's action from day five of the 2018 Winter Olympics from Pyeongchang, South Korea. The Americans top the bill in day five's schedule in Pyeongchang with Shaun White and Mikaela Shiffrin attempting to claim yet more Games gold. White bids for his third halfpipe gold medal having finished an agonising fourth in Sochi. Shiffrin meanwhile is looking to defend the slalom title she won in Sochi aged just 18.
