Antonia and Massimo are married, with a peaceful and apparently calm relationship. Antonia does not know that Massimo is cheating on her with Michele, a young painter of the sets of the Rome Opera House. Massimo's sudden death changes the lives of both of them.

Antonia bursts into the common terrace. Slowly, thanks also to the complicity of the others, Michele and Antonia get closer.
