In Colwyn Bay, north Wales, joiner Gethin teams up with musician Jacob to renovate a house that hasn't been touched since the day it was built. These two have their work cut out as they take on an ambitious renovation with just six months and a limited budget.

Here, bathroom fitter David and air conditioning engineer Nathan are paired up to tackle a total makeover on an old house that has seen better days in Middleton, Greater Manchester. They are given a limited budget and just six months to turn it into a modern family home fit for the 21st century.
