A rancher hires Paladin to tame a wild town so she can sell her cattle there, and all Paladin has to work with is the rancher's nephew: a schoolteacher who fancies himself a gunfighter.

Paladin comes to a beautiful hotel guest's aid dealing with a stalker, and ends up in a counterfeiting scheme.
