Paladin and his prisoner run afoul of a prospector who believes the prisoner is the brother who betrayed him.

A man hires Paladin to deal with his father Esteban, who believes that he is Don Quixote. Paladin soon discovers that he has been hired in the hopes that he would kill Esteban, but would rather defend the knight errant than harm him.
