Nora Larson hires Paladin to visit her husband Brian in prison and convince him to testify against the men who committed the murder he's being held for. But when Paladin gets there, he's knocked out and substituted for Brian so that the prisoner can make his escape with none the wiser.

A mysterious woman abducts and imprisons Paladin and three other people, and soon reveals that she is seeking revenge for an incident that happened six years earlier.
