Paladin comes to Heart Valley to pay a debt and help the sheriff protect his wife from a deadly outlaw who has come back to claim his old girlfriend.

Paladin is called into Hogtooth to deal with three gunmen who each councilmen secretly hired to clean up the criminal element. Now the gunmen have taken over the town.
