When the town's beloved doctor unexpectedly dies, a younger, more renowned doctor arrives to take over his practice. However, thanks to his lax bedside manner, he is unable to garner the townspeople's trust. What can change their minds however, is if he is able to save the life of a pregnant woman by performing an emergency caesarian-section.
