Claire lost her husband Gabriel, during the tsunami in 2004. Recently settled in Abu Dhabi, she sees Gabriel's reflection in a window at a restaurant. She doesn't know it yet but it's going to be a very long journey.

Claire realizes how dangerous the world Gabriel lives in is, but she continues to help him by studying Al Razah's plans. She discovers that a Nexus has been implanted there to cause the destruction of the site. They need to find the mole who installed the device.
