Hoby is called in to protect a town when the citizens believe an outlaw gang is coming to free one of their own.

A local man Lance Garth is shot robbing the mining company, but the $10,000 disappears by the time he rides into Porter and dies in the apartment of dance hall girl Grace Marsden. Now everyone figures that Grace has the money... including Lance's vengeful brother.
