Dodgers is surprised to learn he has a new female cadet, and he is equally shocked to find that she harbors an escalating, twisted obsession with him.

A mysterious scourge strikes members of the Protectorate. It spreads to Earth and then to Mars leaving only Dodgers, Cadet and Marvin oddly untouched. It's up to them to reverse the plague's distinctive physical and mental effects.
