Financial adviser Ray from London is in Spain to find a holiday home with character for him and his girlfriend Eve. Husband and wife team Steve and Sharon take him to three very different properties that they think might impress. Up the coast in Alicante, family-run estate agency Casas Manuel is helping Brian and Esther from Glasgow to find a piece of paradise in the sun. The couple have both recovered from cancer and are now planning to set up home permanently on the Costa Blanca. They've been renting in the area and are now ready to put down roots, with a 130,000 euro budget. There's one deal-breaker: it must have two bathrooms.

They've bought and renovated in Spain in the past so aren't scared of taking on a property that needs a bit of work. Sophie has lined up some great houses for them to see but soon learns that it's not for nothing that Don's nick name is 'The Negotiator'. 150 miles south, just outside of Almeria, childhood sweethearts David and Pam Rowe are searching for their dream retirement property. Number one on their wish list is a sea view. Spanish Property Choice have three apartments lined up for them to see for their 110,000 euro budget.
