Ross hops from Portsmouth to Plymouth and explores a coastline littered with treasures. A bout of hypercapnia leaves him shaken after the dive of a 17th-century shipwreck.
The actor travels dives even deeper on shipwrecks of major historical importance, exploring the remnants of some of the most significant moments in British history. He dives on shipwrecks around the British coastline to reveal some of the nation's murkiest and best-kept secrets, beginning with the site of Britain's most famous wreck - the Mary Rose. Ross is accompanied by dive master Neil Brock and tank expert and safety diver Mark Culwick.
The quest continues in the Red Sea off the coast of Egypt, a deeply personal journey given Ross' grandfather fought in the North Africa campaign during the second World War.
