Ginger and Matt discuss her boy problems, which turn out to be about Ethan rather than her boyfriend. Matt lets her know that Ethan has been a problem for everyone. Chris finalises his Father Christmas trap, but Ginger tells him that it's too small to trap the actual Santa. Chris doesn't handle the news well. Robbie comes to a tipping point with the instruments and realises that he's been hiding behind them. After overhearing a chat between Corey and Ginger, Robbie decides to come clean about why the trip was really cancelled.

Ethan decides to swallow his pride and reach out to Penny, but he botches the video and makes things worse with her. Corey, meanwhile, has found out about Matt's plan to spend Christmas with Tabitha's family and is not handling it well. She heads to Matt's flat to make sure that he comes home.
