A young chef, Max, comes to Moscow to get a job at the trendy Claude Monet restaurant. But at the interview, he is faced with the ridicule of the team, the bad temper of the chef and art director Vika, with whom he spent the night before. To be accepted into the team, Max will have to prove not only the ability to cook.

Max is given the task of unloading the vegetables and killing the goose. The boss prepares a banquet for the judge who has stripped him of his car license. Vika is pursued by a persistent married admirer.
