Lionel spends Christmas in jail. The police let mason know that they found lionel's fingerprints in the Capwell study. Mason searches the Lockridge house again, while the family is taking Christmas dinner to Lionel.

Sophia is thrilled when Lionel is charged with Channing's murder, leading Kelly and Joe to suspect that she might have set him up. Mason tells CC about lionel's affair with Sophia, and CC refuses to believe it. Eden keeps quiet that she knew about the affair.

When Mason presents his evidence to Lionel, the latter is horrified when he realises the tux the bloody note was found in was actually the tux he borrowed from Warren.
