JJ Chalmers is at Dunbar recycling centre on Scotland's east coast, hoping to rescue three lucrative items before they're lost forever. He enlists the help of bag-maker Neil Wragg to repurpose a leather sofa suite, while upcycler Sarah Peterson needs to come up with a creative way to update an old prayer stool. JJ has the huge challenge of revitalising a broken cash register, but will all three items pull in profits for their unsuspecting owners? 

At Beaconsfield recycling centre in Buckinghamshire, Sarah Moore is browsing the boots in search of three unwanted items that can be saved and sold on for cash. She enlists the help of newcomer Ollie Clueit to work on an unloved two-seater sofa, while upcyclers Saurabh Kalra and Fernando Donadel have the challenge of updating a school desk. Sarah tries to give new life to some metal legs, but will she be able to find new homes for all three salvaged items?
