Miranda and Max are punished for a longstanding smuggling bust going south by being sent undercover in a holiday resort to investigate a series of thefts from guests' rooms. While Max is happy for the getaway, Miranda is offended by assignment. Can they survive the job long enough to discover the bigger mystery right under their noses?

Whilst investigating the disappearance of a local journalist, Max and Miranda uncover a high-profile assassination plot at an upcoming summit being held on the island.
