Comedian Fortune Feimster and her wife Jax seek Jeff's help to update the interior of their home, but they are shocked when Jeff suggests they should focus on the exterior and put their house up for sale instead. Actor Wilmer Valderrama and his fiancée Amanda want to make their unique living space more family friendly. Meanwhile, Jeff finds a dream home that could cause a family rift.

Jeff continues working on the pool house with Lamorne's friend and designer, Morgan, but the two are on different pages when it comes to certain design choices. New client and actor Anthony Anderson hires Jeff to wrangle an extensive front yard renovation that is a year late and over budget, while Wilmer's sentimental attachments get in the way of Jeff's plan to make room for new furniture.
