Chuck and Leon battle each other in court, leading to hard feelings; Olivia joins an AIDS task force and encounters an old nemesis; Alana makes a controversial speech.

After Olivia is charged with aiding a suicide, she needs help of both Leon and her estranged husband Chuck, just back from Vancouver. Rob and Laura, after much deliberation, get engaged. Alana recieves a special position from the minister of justice. Dylan joins the BRT team.
