Martin and Lucy go flat-tastic looking around buildings which developers hope will create around a dozen flats. The properties sold under the hammer are in Stoke in Staffordshire, Bexleyheath in Kent and Gunnislake in Cornwall.
Martin meets a couple who plan to convert a large listed shop into their dream home in Hodnet in Shropshire, and a property developer working on a maisonette in Ferndale in South Wales to help fund hergrandchildren's university education. Lucy follows a five-year project to restore a 17th-century listed building in Margate in Kent.
A five-bedroom house in Plymouth, a two-bed Victorian cottage in Croydon and a former coach house in Cardiff are sold under the hammer. Martin and Lucy meet the developers to hear about their plans to make the most of their auction buys.
