Martin, meanwhile, is surprised by the extra benefits that come with a pair of old garages in south London.

Martin heads to Suffolk, where he finds himself charmed by a two-bed mid-terrace that has remained largely untouched over the years. He is less enthusiastic about a two-bed semi in Bedfordshire, however, in which he discovers several worrying cracks in the walls. Dion, meanwhile, is off barnstorming in Kent to look at the development potential of an enormous plot of land.
