An end terrace in Pontypridd, a piece of land in Bolton and a large shop with residential floors above it in Tunstall are all bought at auction. Martin and Martel follow the developers' progress - two of whom want to turn their auction buys into their homes.

Martin is on the north Wales coast in the village of Penmaenmawr, where back in 2015 he first saw a five-bedroom property spread over four floors. He also heads to Fareham in Hampshire to see a two-bed semi-detached cottage he falls in love with.
