Practice director Guy has to perform complex surgery on a much-loved elderly cat, vet Katie has a pair of very poorly puppies on her hands and practice director Ken is called to a farm where a cow is struggling to give birth to twins - which is extremely rare in cattle.

Newly qualified vet Katie is faced with a double emergency when a cat and dog are rushed into the practice, and she needs to make the difficult decision of which pet to prioritise.
