Twelve-year-old Will loves rugby but he had to give it up in order to have chemotherapy. Will has Langerhans Cell Hystiocytosis and it's his rugby community that has got him through it. Being restricted to the sidelines is getting him down so he needs a rugby den to keep him in the game.

Nine-year-old Kiran is a big fan of a certain boy wizard and a bit like his hero, he's had his life turned upside down. He recently changed schools, moved miles away from all his friends and he hasn't complained once. That's because Kiran helps look after his mum, who has a disability which means she has trouble moving around. His mum's condition meant they needed to be nearer to family. In a place they are still getting used to, Kiran, and Pudding his dog, need somewhere they can escape, to let imaginations run wild and let their love of witchcraft and wizardry come to life.
