April 1940: In a wood south of Lillehammer, Olav Rødsbakken and his comrades fight for their lives. With only ten shots each and a few bikes, they take up the fight against the German war machinery. The Norwegians have received promises of immediate help from English forces, but when the help finally arrives, it turns out to be something completely different than expected.

May 28, 1940: In a British landing craft, the Norwegian Ivan Vanje sits with allied foreign legionaries. Together, they will try to reconquer Narvik from German forces that have occupied his hometown for almost two months. The biggest battle of the campaign is in front of them.
