Bing is playing in the garden when he sees his shadow, Flop has one too. Flop and Bing play shadow tag, taking it in turns to be 'It' but just as Bing is about to have a turn a raincloud covers the sun and the shadows disappear. Flop persuades Bing to go inside, out of the rain, but Bing is upset that his shadow is getting wet in the garden. With the aid of a torch Flop shows Bing that shadows never go far from their owners.

Bing drives his toy car around the breakfast things on the table and accidentally spills Krispo's all over the kitchen floor. He helps Flop to clear them up with the aid of the 'voo-voo cleaner' but neither of them notice when Bing's car gets sucked up along with the Krispo's.
