A driver leaves the scene after a head-on collision between two cars, leaving his daughter and her boyfriend behind in the wreckage. PC Ian Cosgrove is called out to help a driver on the notorious Thelwall Viaduct, but torrential rain threatens his rescue attempt, while a good Samaritan sees his brand new car destroyed when he comes to the aid of another motorist.

PC Chris Swash is part of a team hunting for a gang of ruthless burglars and in a desperate attempt to escape the closing net, the men crash their car and flee on foot.
