This is the beginning of the trial of Pascal Giroux. During an out-of-jury hearing, Léo and Marie-Anne try to have their client's statement excluded from the evidence. Inès has her hands full with Nathan Carrier. Legrand is back in the office after his convalescence and Ti-Bill receives unexpected visitors.

Giroux's trial comes to an abrupt end and leaves Léo with a bitter taste. Jessica goes to Legrand's bedside. Nothing is going well with the Magloires, who are trying to cover up their daughter's hit-and-run.
