Tonbokiri and Nihongou arrive at the citadel and finally all three spears are together. A blue bird appears on the veranda and Nihongou is desperate to catch it for a certain reason. The three spears work together and chase after the blue bird. That night, Akita Toushirou sees a ghost and gets scared. Nikkari Aoe steps up to exterminate the ghost that lurks in the citadel.

Aizen Kunitoshi and Hotaru can't help but be worried about making things work out in the citadel with Akashi Kuniyuki and his lackadaisical behavior. During all this, strange things keep happening around the citadel and the suspicion falls on Akashi Kuniyuki. Meanwhile, Kogitsunemaru and the others are dispatched to Edo.
