Thi takes a discarded lotus flower from Noey, who views the flower of a representation of his own heart. Without realizing the significance, Thi throws the flower away without a second thought until Noey returns to demand the flower be given back. Noey won't let the matter drop until Thi can find the lost lotus flower. 

Even though Thi's students all tell him to avoid getting too close to Noey, Thi finds out that Noey has a friendly side to him.
