In the Peruvian jungle, Darien seeks a killer who's altered his appearance through plastic surgery. The fugitive, Selma says, is "a physical-fitness fanatic with a penchant for survivalist encounters.

While visiting Chicago, Darien learns that a man was killed by a future weapon, and goes undercover at a computer company to catch the killers, a pair of fugitive brothers.
