Clive Myrie hosts as a new set of four contenders brave the black chair, hoping to earn a place in the semi-finals by answering questions on general knowledge and their chosen specialist subjects.

This time, the specialist subjects in question are the Tour de France in the 21st century, singer-songwriter and member of The Beatles George Harrison, Virgil's epic poem The Aeneid and the 36th president of the United States, Lyndon B Johnson.

Clive Myrie asks the questions as four more contenders face the famous black chair under the spotlight and the ticking clock in an attempt to become the next Mastermind champion. The specialist subjects are the musician Neil Young, Major-winning golfer Rory McIlroy, American astronaut Sally Ride and British brutalist architecture.
