Nationwide looks at the history of Ford, the man and his incredible and affordable machines that made transport cheap and farming easier for millions of people. We also look at the history of the Ford plant in Cork which for more than 50 years was a major economic force in Cork city and county employing around 7,000 people.

On this evening's Nationwide we are in Galway as Duffy's, one of the world's longest surviving circuses arrives in city. We get a taste of Circus Life outside and inside the Big Top. We meet three generations of the family behind the name and explore this magical world which continues to enthrall and delight.
