An agent using plastic surgery to look like Sam penetrates INTERSECT's security to steal top secret files. Meanwhile, his superiors arrange for Sam's death to cover the imposter's tracks.

Sam wakes up in a motel with no idea how he got there. He then goes in and when Leonard sees him, he pulls a gun on him and tells him that he thinks Sam killed another agent, whom Leonard fired. Sam doesn't believe he did what Leonard says he did. He goes on the run. He meets a woman who helps him. Later they go to Abby who after talking to Leonard says that he sent the agent on an undercover assignment and that he has a video that shows that Sam killed the agent.
