Henry has to confront his fear of death when a friend passes away. But death comes too close when Matt offers the grieving widow a chance to hold the wake in their home.

Henry meets Loretta and contemplates marrying her. Matt and his "wife" (Lisa Wilcox) endure a stormy classroom marriage, but it's smooth sailing for Henry and the girl's mother, Loretta (Sharon Acker).
