Eliseo is blackmailed into being the late-night driver for Chiara, the daughter of a menacing tenant. After kicking out Chiara's friends, an annoyed Chiara plants a surprise kiss on him while her friends take a picture. But when Eliseo sees an opportunity to turn the tables on the blackmailer, he jumps at it wholeheartedly in a desperate attempt to line up more opposition against the project.

After an elevator technician visits the building, Eliseo comes up with the idea to cause an expenditure so big that the association would be forced to hit the brakes on the pool project. But breaking the elevator causes a power outage that plunges the building into darkness. Zambrano's investigation to find out the culprit pushes a desperate and guilty Eliseo into a corner.
