What could have happened to Joullnar Gorgis? When the 41-year-old woman who lives in Gothenburg does not come home, her daughter reports her as missing. In parallel with the police, the family also begins its own investigation into where Joullnar has gone. Via a mysterious phone number on a train ticket, you end up in Jönköping. When a dead woman is found in a wooded area, the whole thing suddenly develops into a murder case.

When 31-year-old mother Beata Ratzman in Malmö disappears in September 2021, a massive search operation is launched in which both the police and the public participate. However, the search is fruitless and despite several traces in various places around Skåne that can be linked to Beata, she remains missing. Malmö police are thus faced with an investigation that is both intricate and challenging in the search for answers to the mysterious disappearance.
