What begins with Ako Abbas being missing from family and relatives quickly escalates into a murder investigation when the 37-year-old man's body is found in a bag on Värmdö in Stockholm. The police investigation leads them to a couple in Nacka and their closest relatives. It turns out that infidelity and revenge may be the driving forces behind it all. When the hunt intensifies, it turns out that the suspects have fled abroad and now the police have to enlist the help of international contacts.

In October 2023, a man comes into the police station in Alingsås and reports his 15-year-old son, Henrik, missing. Henrik is a promising hockey player in Västra Frölunda and it is not like him to just disappear. A massive search operation is launched and the whole of Alingsås is committed to finding Henrik. Five days after the report, divers find the boy's dead body in the Säveån River, badly mutilated by stabbing. The Alingsås police investigation team is now faced with the challenge of finding the murderer.
